Applications are voted on at the monthly meeting, the second Wednesday of each month, 6 to 7:30 PM at Fincastle on the Mountain. Bring your appetite.

Covered firing benches with target backers at 25, 100, 200 and 300 yards, steel gongs at a variety of distances, and parking right behind the benches.

Pistol Ranges

A moving target range, an automatic timed PPC range with turning targets, and a 25 yard falling plate range, dedicated to pistols and pistol calibers.

Shotgun Club

A dedicated shotgun club with trap, skeet and 5 Stand shares the property. It is a separate club with its own dues and rules.

From the 300 yard rifle and pistol range to the dedicated pistol ranges, six competition bays and the shotgun club next door, Tri-Angle has been a home for shooters in Tazewell County since 1939.

Range News

Annual Youth Day

Young shooters from 7 to 17 learned safe gun handling with .22 rifles, .22 handguns and archery under our range officers, and waited on the door prizes.

Toys for Tots Match

With the Marine Corps Reserve, our members turned a fall match into toys for area children. The Steel Challenge Toys for Tots kickoff carries it on.
